And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure

Question 94: And Allah swt says: “And a tree that sprouts from Toor Sinai, it grows with oil, and a relish (Sibghin) for the eaters” AlMuminoon verse 20. What does this verse mean?

Answer: Surat Al Muminoon [18] ‘And We sent down from the sky
water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away’.

The water: It is the light of Muhammad pbuhap and it is the knowledge. [19] ‘Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat.’

And the gardens: They are the family of Muhammad pbu them, and the date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit are their followers (Shias) and the best of the true believers who are faithful. “And a tree that sprouts from Toor Sinai, it is grown with oil, and a relish (Sibghin) for the eaters” AlMuminoon verse 20.

And this tree is: The Qa’em (Imam Al Mahdi) of the family of Muhammad pbu him and the Toor: It is Najaf and there is a narration from them pbu them “Toor Sinai, the angels have transported it to Najaf” Wasa’el AlShia v.14 p.377

“grows with oil” Trees regularly grow with water and it is a light liquid, as for oil it is a heavy liquid, dense and trees do not grow from it normally, but as for this tree it is special, and has its specialization, it takes in oil and not water, and so it drinks oil and that is the heavy knowledge and the light in its purest form “And its oil illuminates, and fire does not touch it, light upon light” Surat Al Noor verse 35

“And a relish (Sibghin) for the eaters”: The one who is eating, the food is given to him not the relish of it, so the relish is the result of eating from this tree, whereas for those who eat from this tree, and acquire its knowledge, and gain with the knowledge of Imam Al Mahdi pbuh, they will have its’ relish from Allah swt “The relish (Sibgha-religion of Allah which is Islam) and what can be better than the relish of Allah and we are to Him worshipers” Sura AlBaqara verse 138.
