So the signs are [present] in the selves/souls for those who purify it, and in the horizons for those who would like to draw conclusions using the mind/intellect and for those who purify themselves. Furthermore the Prophet (pbuhahf) and the vicegerents drew the attention of the believers in many hadiths to this path and and the importance of walking it and not being negligent in applying the jurisprudence, its obligatory, its recommended, its forbidden/haram and its disfavorable/makruh which is the only path that leads to Allah, not words or terms or the fabrications of some of those who wrote about gnosis/Irfan and what they call Mujahadat (self-drawn conclusions/opinions) for which Allah has sent down no authority.
Verily, knowing Allah occurs by purifying the self, and the purification of the self is not accomplished except by applying the Jurisprudence and asceticism in the world, and spending in the path of Allah, and possessing the best of morals/manners, and loving for Allah and hating for Allah, and being strict in the essence of Allah, and being harsh with the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and being merciful with the believers. Allah The Exalted said:
{Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly shining star lit from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things}. [Surat Al Nur 24:35].
And all praises belong to Allah alone
{And Allah will establish the truth by His words, even if the guilty ones/criminals dislike it}. [Surat Yunus 10:82]
