Question 324: Seal of Nubuwwah (Seal of Prophethood), and the first Mahdi is the first of 313, and he is from Basra, and he has a mark in his right cheek, and he has dandruff in his head, and his body is like the body of Moses son of Imran (a.s), and on his back is the Seal of Prophethood, and in it is the will of the Messenger of Allah (sawas), and he is the most knowledgeable among the creation, after the Imams, of the Qur’an and Torah and Gospels, and in the beginning of his appearance he would be a youth, the Messenger of Allah (sawas): “….then he mentioned a youth and said: so if you see him pledge allegiance to him for he is the Successor of the Mahdi”
Is there an apparent seal on the back of the Yamani (a.s) that one can see with the eyes and in it is the will like it has been narrated in this tradition? What about the rest of the descriptions like the dandruff in the head, is that apparent that one could see?

O Allah send Your Peace and Blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad the Imams and the Mahdis and send great greetings.
As for the Seal of Prophet-hood, it is on the back of every Vicegerent from the Vicegerents of Muhammad (sawas) the Imams and the Mahdis (a.s), and it is the Seal of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (sawas). But is it apparent on the body? no. But, it is possible that Allah makes it apparent for whoever He wills and makes it apparent so that he could see it. Also, it is possible that Allah may show it to whoever He wills from His servants whether through visions or Kashf (vision during wakefulness).
As for the mark and the dandruff and the similarity of the body to the body of Moses (a.s), then this is apparent and you can see it with the eyes. As such, there are other marks, and they are signs, some of them remain and can always be seen with eyes, but their condition change, for perhaps bleeding may accompany it sometimes to indicate an incident that happened in the past, and some of them can not be seen with the eyes but Allah may show it to whoever He wills from His servants
As for the Seal of Prophethood, I hope that you know that perhaps Allah may make an apparent mark that can be seen with the eyes on the back of the Infallible as an indication towards the Seal of Prophethood, but it is not the real Seal of Prophethood, rather, it would only be an indication towards it; because the Seal of Prophethood is not in the physical body which perish, rather, it is in the soul, and there is light that radiate from it to the Skies, and it is seen by the Angels and by the Righteous Servants of Allah whom Allah wills to reveal for them the veils from their visions in order that they may see His Signs, Glory be to Him
