{Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are only like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.} The Quran 25:44
Any fool, and there are so many, can read this verse or recite its meaning while applying it to his ideological opponents. Just like that, and with unparalleled foolishness, he imagines to have proven himself right and his opponents wrong. He does so without recognizing that he is the person who is first and foremost intended in this verse if he has not listened to the evidence of his opponent and comprehended it himself, instead of making a decision without complete knowledge of what his opponent is presenting, or instead of depending on someone else to decide his fate for him with the excuse that this someone is knowledgeable and specialized in the issue, and so on from the excuses of the past nations that confronted the prophets and successors. If he does so, he is the most fitting personification of this verse {Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are only like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.} The Quran 25:44
My advice to you, no matter what or who you are, is to read, listen to, and comprehend what your opponent says, so that you don’t eventually find yourself to have lived your life under the delusion that you carried the absolute truth, whereas you are just one of scores of the wrong people.
