How does faith settle in the heart?

I asked the Righteous Servant (a.s) for an advice one day. So I said:
The human being is impatient, my chest is narrowed quickly, there are a lot of burdens, what do u advise me? Your words are my cure in my path.

Knowing Allah occurs by purifying the self

Verily, knowing Allah occurs by purifying the self, and the purification of the self is not accomplished except by applying the Jurisprudence and asceticism in the world, and spending in the path of Allah, and possessing the best of morals/manners, and loving for Allah and hating for Allah
